Party Time

Today, we celebrated Cara-Li's birthday with her friends at a ceramic café.  The kids got to pick an item that they could paint.  The studio then glazes it and fires it for you.  It's funny to see that 'different' things that kids come up with!  An elephant does not have to be grey apparently.  Wait till you see Alexia's!  Once again Auntie Loula was responsible for the fabulous cake.  Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious too!  Thanks Auntie Loula!

First Reconciliation

For those of you who have no clue what this is, it's First Confession.  Us old folks refer to it as this but the Catholic Church has decided to rename this sacrament.  Anyway, last Thursday, Cara-Li confessed all her sins to the pastor which took all of 2 seconds becaused she's such a good girl  :)  The boys in front of her were in there a LONG time.  Heehee!  Wait till Alexia's time... she'll be a while as well!

8 Years Old

What a glorious day it is today despite the freezing weather!

It’s Cara-Li's 8th birthday.

And I am not sad.

I am happy.

Happy to see her feel so good about herself.
Happy to see her so secure, so sure of herself.
Happy to see her flourish into such a fine girl.

I am so so happy!

I love you my little girl.
